Year 10 Students Prepare for SET Plan Interviews 

At Wynnum State High School, we are committed to supporting our students in planning for their future. As part of this commitment, all Year 10 students will participate in a compulsory Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan interview on Thursday 14 August. 

Over Terms 2 and 3, students have been working through our PROUD Pathways program, where they have explored career options, developed personal goals, and considered their senior subject choices. The SET Plan process is a vital step in ensuring that every student makes informed decisions about their future learning and career path. 

SET Plan interviews will be held throughout the day on Thursday 14 August, from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Year 10 students will not attend regular classes on this day but are instead required to attend their 30-minute interview with a parent or carer. 

Parents and carers will be able to book interview times from Tuesday 5 August via Compass, using the same system as Parent-Teacher Interviews. Full booking instructions will be sent via email. 

To attend the interview, students must have completed the following tabs on OneSchool: 

• My Intended Pathway 
• My Pathway Portfolio  
• My Course of Study  
• Learning Progress  

Students will also need to bring their completed My Pathway document they have completed during PROUD Pathways lessons.

We encourage all families to engage in conversations with their child about these elements of planning on OneSchool. It’s a valuable opportunity to reflect on goals and discuss future aspirations.
